Rewind to when my husband and I had just gotten married. There wasn’t a lot I had to plan for. With just the two of us we could make last minute decisions with little to no difficulty. Now, fast forward to 13 years of marriage and 6 children later…I have to plan my planning! LoL I found out very quickly that in order to make things run smoothly in our home, I had to plan ahead and get organized! I am a list maker…I LOVE lists. There’s just something gratifying about placing a check mark beside your perfectly bulleted list of to-dos. A few years ago, while researching ways that I could help to save money while feeding my large family, I came across the idea of meal planning. Over the years, meal planning has saved us a lot of money, stress, and hassle! Knowing ahead of time, being able to prepare…I like it…a lot! I challenge you to give meal planning a try for one week. Shop your pantry, make meals based on what you already have, plan remaining meals, make your shopping list based off of what you need to complete your meals for the week. Shop, cook, enjoy! I created a free meal plan print off which is above. Simply click, save the picture to your computer, and print. 🙂
Let me know what you think and how it worked out for you!
